Back when I was in Form 2, before I even joined university, I developed one of my early successful standalone systems — a VICOBA computer program. It could handle withdrawals, manage loans with interest and penalties, and cover all the key microfinance functions. I built it using VB.NET 2006 and Oracle DB 2000.

What made this project truly memorable is that it wasn’t just theoretical — it was actually used by the VICOBA group my mum was part of. That’s how I unexpectedly became “the IT guy” in the group — and as a token of appreciation, they gave me TZS 50,000. 😅

You might ask: how was that even possible at such a stage?

The answer is simple — self-motivation, strong belief, and learning every single day. Back then, Stack Overflow, Reddit, and other forums were our “AI.” I was self-taught, driven by curiosity, and determined to create solutions that mattered.

That small beginning shaped my journey.
